LINDFIELD VETERANS

About Lindfield Vets

We are a section of Lindfield Golf Club which is set in picturesque countryside close to Haywards Heath in West Sussex.

The tree lined parkland course, designed by Patrick Tallack, was founded in 1990. Stretching to 5,957 yards off the white tees, it plays to a par of 70.

There are some challenging holes, water hazards to negotiate and testing bunkers to penalise the wayward. But for all that there are birdie opportunities too and it is a fair and appealing test to players of all abilities.

Lindfield is the home of The Golf College which offers students a full time education while preparing them for a life in golf.

Members are 55 years old and over and a full and varied golfing calendar is available with all of the usual established and popular competitions. The Vets official day is Friday with groups playing social golf on Mondays and Wednesdays offering friendly golf for all standards.

We play friendly matches against other Sussex Clubs. These Inter-Club matches are very popular and give our members the opportunity to play other good courses in the area at a bargain price which also includes coffee on arrival and lunch.

Our PIGS winter society runs from November to April giving more chances to play some well drained courses.
